Pictures #1-#3 were activities we did in class to practice mixing paint. We used the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) to create secondary colors on 3 different colors of background. This will show us how the background of what you're painting on will have an effect on your color.
Picture #4 was also an in class activity. We used graphite and crayon to practice color handling from darkest to the very lightest.
Picture #5 was another activity we did to practice mixing paint. We used one primary color with black or white to create a smooth gradient from complete black to complete white by using just tints and shades of our primary color.
